hsr and 1205
anyone had trouble with the felpro 1205 blowing out when used with the stealth ram?... I just had my first experience and it cost me my engine...back passenger side water passage blew out and was shooting water right down the distributor hole on the valley....at least i caught it before the engine spun a bearing... time for a rebuild

Re: hsr and 1205
Haven't had any blow out but have had them creep out from under the manifold. Pretty sure it was a combination of iron heads and aluminum manifold, uneven torque and maybe even beating on it a bit when it wasn't warmed up fully. Puts allot of heat into it quick and with different expansion rates, it may have pushed them out. Hasn't happened since (Now that I take my time when re-installing it)

Re: hsr and 1205
No probs here.HSR /1205 / TFS heads.
Did you put sealer on the head / intake faces around the coolant ports before installing?
Mine stick so well in those areas I destroy the gasket taking the intake off.
