Out of plain curiosity from reading this thread:F BODIES GALORE - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards has anyone here done business with this company, and if so, how did it go for you?

Re: David T's Auto Centre

i posted the same in the other thread:
years ago I emailed him asking for parts for my Trans Am - i think for saddle tan / doeskin seatbelts maybe, I can't remember. anyway, the price he quoted for what I was asking was insanely high. I actually did still consider buying from him, but I asked for pictures first to see what I was purchasing. he refused to send me any pictures so I didn't place the order. I wasn't willing to risk paying more than top dollar to potentially receive parts that might not be in any better condition than what I already had.

Re: David T's Auto Centre

Thnx for the reply; hopefully, there will be others.

Trying to get a handle on this guy and his business. Seems that with all the vehicles he has, he'd be a great source of parts---if he's on the up-and-up.

Not sure you're going to get much in the form of customer feedback. I think most people hang up when they hear the prices.

I figure that's why he has so much inventory.... nothing sells. Notice most cars aren't parted out.... nothing sells.

Re: David T's Auto Centre

I've reached out to him before and his prices are just embarrassing. He had a car that was also wildly misrepresented and when I brought it up, he responded with an all caps, 0 punctuation temper tantrum. He's a big baby who has no interest but to gouge the third gen community. Hence why he's been selling the same cars for close to a decade. Stay away and source your parts elsewhere.

Re: David T's Auto Centre

I traveled to Edmonton for the weekend to visit a family member. Thought it would be a good idea to go David T's for a set of black sunvisors. Super nice guy but he didn't have any except a singles from different years. Also, they weren't in the best shape and wanted $280 for a used grey set.
I asked him if he had any Cars & Concepts t-tops. There was one car that he let me go look at. I wanted to buy the 4 trim pieces that cover the pin locks.
He said he wasn't parting out that car. Not sure why he let me look at them then?
Anyway, I overheard him talking about his property taxes going up to $135000.
He also mentioned about downsizing to that person.
Who knows when he'll drop his prices?
I didn't buy the sunvisors...im going to buy new.

Drop a zero, $13,500. At least not 135 000 yet. I know justeeen has worked hard to destroy the country, but we aren't there yet at property tax. As much as justeeen wants it. Lol
