Scott from Bigbrakeupgrade.com

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to take a minute and tell you about my experience with Scott from bigbrakeupgrade.com.

I had seen members talk about his kits and how great they are but hesitated to take the plunge for nearly three years. I finally decided to ask Scott a few questions and let me tell you, his customer service is incredible. All of my questions were answered in great detail, and very promptly as well. He never kept me waiting.

After giving me the information I needed, I decided on ordering a C6 brake upgrade for the front. I saw Scott offered the calipers in red, but I wanted to do something different.

I got my kit powdercoated in goal, with the Corvette lettering milled down and replaced with a stainless steel Trans Am decal.

Scott sent me pictures throughout the entire process and kept me updated with what was going on.

I haven't had a chance to put these on yet due to it being the winter, but man do these things look awesome. They even come assembled which really adds to the effect in my opinion.

Below you will find some pictures. I will update this thread once I get around to putting the brakes on.

Scott is also working on C7 Vette brakes for our cars and it will really be awesome to see the performance gain from running those!

All of his offerings can be found on www.bigbrakeupgrade.com

I also had a great experience with Scott. I chose the C5 setup as its what fits under my 17" ZR1s. It also reminds me, I need to send my stock spindles back to him. They are sitting in a box at work. Oops!

Mike, now you have no excuse not to show up at Road America this May. Both your daily and the fun toy are capable track cars now.

That was my goal. I wanted to have two cars, with totally different set-ups, both be enjoyable on the street AND a track!

Those look great. A member of our Michigan F-body forum has LS1 brakes BBU on his 3rd gen., and has nothing but good things to say about them.

Re: Scott from Bigbrakeupgrade.com

we made a mistake when ordering on line and when we called the part correction was no hassle. i orderd my hubs, brackets, and earls braided lines from him while i did all of my own spindle work. if i decide to go larger BBU will be my choice.
