Sunpro/Actron

Purchased a set of electrical water temp and oil pressure gauges along with a mechanical boost gauge. Love the look, however the oil pressure gauge started reading nothing lower than 50psi at idle. I know its supposed to read 30 at idle.

So I used a small open end wrench on the lower nut of the sender wire connection, at the sender, and a socket on the top nut and when I tried to tighten it, the whole stud pulled out of the sender.

Called Sunpro, wasn't even put on hold. Had a person on the other side immediately. Asked to be emailed a copy of the receipt, and the new sender would be sent out by the end of the next business day.

Yes they are the cheaper option when it comes to gauges. BUT HANDS DOWN the BEST customer service I have encountered in YEARS.

Big thumbs up to Sunpro/Actron for getting it done!

The gauges. (I know I need a new pillar pod.)

Re: Sunpro/Actron

This is good to hear. I know Autometer is the go to for everyone, but Sunpro is NOT a bad brand. They may not be as flashy as the more expensive brands, but as far as I'm concerned they just work. And do so for quite some time. And they have just enough options to find a match to your own setup.

Just an update. Got the replacement sender, but the gauge was still off. Called them up and they are sending a replacement gauge.

Took a little longer to get this replacement, but they sent me a whole new gauge and sender.
