ECKLERS CAMARO .........
I received a new catalog from Ecklers a few days ago . on the cover a 3rd gen. . I was surprised , finally a little 3rd gen love from Ecklers . one can build an entire 1st gen thru them . maybe they will start showing more 3rd gen stuff . one can only hope ............

Anyone ever have anything shipped to Canada from Ecklers/Ricks Camaros?
They are selling cowl induction hoods for $279 and shipping calculator says $82 shipping to Canada. That is unbelievably low. Is the shipping calculator right or is there extra charges when the items arrive?
They also have what looks to be a 5" Hawks spoiler for $199.

I'm new (for the second time) to 3rd Gen. F-bodies, and still trying to find out who has parts, what parts they have, and who is good to deal with (good customer service, fast shipping, not too crazy on shipping prices, etc.).
I just went through Ecklers Firebird catalog, and they have a few things I could use. Are they decent to deal with?

I just recieved a OER dash pad from RicksCamaro....it took about 2 weeks to arrive. Only thing that seemed awfully slow was that it took them 4 days to process the order, and two additional days before they shipped it. Never got a tracking number.
One of the slowest I've dealt with overall. But the dash pad was fine. Lots of other vendors sell the same one. I got it because they offered 10% off....

They are owned by an investment banking company and they own alot of places (Camaro, corvette, firebird,classic chevy, impala, t bird, trucks etc.. They used to be like a family but now unfortunately part of corporate america. Thier pricing is high compared to everyone else and thier customer service is average at best. Rick's used to be owned by Rick George who is an awesome guy and knows his stuff, but was bought by Ecklers. You dont get service like that any longer with them. Id suggest you buy from Year One or Classic Industries.
