damaged MSD fleabay
so i just got it in today and the pin that would run to the gray wire has been pushed back into the box.
my question is. does anyone think it damaged the internals? does my application need the gray wire?
1989 trans am TPI 5.7
i would like to use the built in security function but eventually will switch to an MSD distributor so using the green/purple wire would later become an issue
edit: got an MSD 6AL 6425 with coil and splice harness

Re: damaged MSD fleabay
You can send that to MSD and they will R&R the box for a nominal fee.

There are fake MSD being sold.
The serial number is something like
60138 60813 60318
Or something like that, but def has 6 as the first number.
If yours starts with 6 then def call MSD direct for evaluation of your serial number.
