i dont like Hawks thirdgen Part 2
So, against my better judgment I decided to take my mechanics advice and calls Hawks. Didn't want too because I had been burned by them before but I needed info
What I'm trying to do is convert my 87 Iroc to the 88-92 set up because the accessories under my hood ate in the way of a potential procharger. That's my next project, Im trying to buy and have this thing fit
So I called them and explained this to them. The guy quickly tries to pawn me off onto the tech that has supercharger experience. I explained to him I needed to know if they sold the parts to convert my accessories....brackets and so forth. He finally catches on but still wants to forward me to another Co worker. So he says he's writing down my name and number and they'll call me "Right back"
They have closed already. Now I have to hope like hell they actually call back. They never do and I know because they did this to me late last year. Wasted a lot of my time and I ended up spending a good amount of money else where
Thank you Hawk for yet another valuable lesson. I had a simple question. One in which you should have plenty of experience in dealing with. I'm pretty sure lots out there have wanted to convert over to the newer style

Yeah, no way I'd buy that stuff from Hawk's....you'll get it for 1/3 of the price of what Hawk's is going to charge you for a serpentine setup either from a bone yard or privately. That's a lot of parts for a full conversion...

Set up from the 4.3 Astro or s10 will work as will some 90's trucks or you may find a third gen with one.

I'm sure others too
Truck and vettes each have their own serp setups and are different distances from the block compared to Fcars and the other big car stuff.
If you would search/post here or google, you'll find what you need to know fairly easy.

Does anyone know which March serpentine conversion setup I need? It would have to mock the 89-92 set up I suppose. They have so many by March, im not sure which ones would work (for a Procharger)
