Hawks Third Gen was awesome!

Ordered a set of Hooker ceramic coated headers and received them in 3 days! I really like the off road stainless Y-Pipe, wish it was 3" though...maybe that's in the works?

Re: Hawks Third Gen was awesome!

I used to give them a five star, but after Bruce stole a car from me that I had an agreed deal on this snake backstabbed me and talked b.s. to the seller and made the seller change his mind and take the car away from me! This guy is a scumbag and dirty tactic jackass! Anyone who has good tings to say, but yourself in my shoes for a minute and think! Guy has a bunch of cars and instead of one poor guy getting his car back, this turd decided to put poison in the sellers head! Never refer anyone to this snake again!

Re: Hawks Third Gen was awesome!

One guy doesn't speak for the entire company...Just because this guy is an as shole doesnt mean the company is bad. In fact I have had nothing but positive things to say...And in such a niche market they wouldn't be in business today if they were not a good company..

1991formula350, I understand your anger...I would be pissed too. Take it out on him, personally. or make a thread about him personally, but dont bash a good company....

I know quite a few sneaky bastard as sholes that are fabricators and do great work. I still want their expertise, and awesome products even though their personality sucks. Couldnt get what they offer anywhere else. Same is to be said about hawks...though I dont know them personally they do offer quite a selection of products that can not be had elsewhere for the price they offer it at.

I'm neither for nor against Bruce or Hawks, but I hope anyone reading this "feedback" will keep in mind that it's not exactly fair.

It's been awhile, but I've spent lots of money there. Last time was about a year ago. They are a good company.

Hawks Third Gen WORST EVER!!!

I recently dropped $600 on a fiberglass ss hood for my 96 ss and it has to be the worst hood i have ever seen in my life. i was guaranteed to be an exact match to the original but it is FAR from it. if i knew it would be this bad i would have spent the extra $400 to get the original. this thing has more waves than the beach....does NOT bolt up correctly and once it is bolted up you have to use hood pins and pull your front bumper forward to get the edges to line up b/c if you dont it will overlap bumper/fenders/windshield. and once you hand the money over that's it pretty much all you get is "oh well sh*t happens" from customer service. they have NO care for customers. before you buy something they are the nicest people but once you buy it then say goodbye to customer service! i would not buy a screw from hawks third gen if it was the only place i could get it! WORST COMPANY EVER!
