thirdgenranch difficult to get a hold of - advice on next moves?
getting a bit concerned about my order with thirdgenranch. Thoughts welcome
Cars leaking pretty bad so checked online for a reputable, competitvely priced supplier of GM T-top seals. I had already ordered bits from thirdgenranch and happy with the service so had no qualms doing so again.
Okay so I email Denny on the 6th October about shipping costs (I'm in the UK) and he comes back promptly with a reasonable quote. So I go ahead and order online about the 10th, giving my credit card details and get a shipping notice from the Denny on the 12th October. Don't get any shipping/tracking numbers with my confirmation email but think nothing of it from past experience.
Sit back a few weeks and email Denny on 27th about a tracking number. He's a busy guy so send a follow up a few days later and he gets back to me on the 1st November saying he too notes no tracking info and will get back to me. A few prompts later on my end and we're upto the 9th now with no communication.
Appreciate he's a small shop and really am grateful for him supporting our thirdgen commmunity. But is it unreasonable to request a tracking number and not be provided one after a few weeks?

same story different day.Cue all the people with "give them a break there small company" and "bought plenty, never a problem" or "he's a busy guy".Look back at old post and research before buying.

you said it. He did finally get back to me with a tracking number and I've just paid customs charges; goods due on Monday.
I'll report back with the quality of the goods but tbh, this whole process has left a bad taste for me.
