Classic Industries....stepped up to comments here

In one of the threads about Classic Industries, I relayed my story about a problem with their catalog being incorrect and feeling that they did not own up to it and it cost me a lot a money. Well, they do read these boards and they contacted me to discuss.

Where I had said they charged me a restocking fee, I was wrong. They did not. But they did get a whole lot of people involved into the technical questions I raised about incorrect part applications and they found that I was correct and the catalog listing was wrong. They are refunding me the cost to return the parts to them as well as the initial shipping to get it to me.

I appreciate that Brian the sales manager took the time to look into this and contact me and that they took it seriously enough to investigate the problem and not just refund my money. They do seem to working hard to increase the availability of third gen parts (which I thanked them for).

So I have to say that I have moved them back into the list of places I will buy from...... And since they are refunding me some money, time to buy some more parts!

Re: Classic Industries....stepped up to comments here

Erik,

Glad to be of assistance. The feedback we get here is invaluable to us. We appreciate that you took the time to point out the discrepancies in the application information we had on file. With this feedback we were able to work with the vendor to correct the application information. This feedback served to prevent any future issues Camaro owners may have had when ordering these particular fuel lines. So, again, thanks alot for pointing out the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience, but are pleased that we were able to correct an error in our listings and also earn your business in the process. Please let us know if we can ever be of further assistance.

Best Regards,

Classic Industries
