NAPA had the rubber boots for the slider pins that I was looking for but they ended up being to small...??.. I called a couple of other local parts stores but to no avail. So off I go to GM only to get treated like crap first off and get told "why are you fixing something like that?" (when they haven't even seen my car) then to be told that EACH boot is $10.00!!!!! So after being revived I figure well, while I'm here I'll pick up the proper strainer for my fuel pump. $40.00!!!!!! for a ten dollar strainer anywhere else!
I've been to GM a few times for stupid odd things since I've owned my Camaro (things you can't seem to get anywhere else) and have always been forced to paid way to much, but that was for things you couldn't get anywhere else!
GM is hurting so bad you think that they'd look at everything to see where they can make some cuts to AT THE VERY LEAST, make themselves competitive. Sorry GM, I love you but your like Old Yeller, you've got rabies and unless you can find a way to clean up.... then it's time to die.

i coudn't agree with you more, i have been to gm dealers for "dealer only" items...they overcharge like crazy!...plus these guys working there are beyond unionozed and so opinionated ...this is why gm is in trouble...gm is completely out of touch with what regular people out there need...which is decent product a ta a good price....it seems with gm these days you can't get both these things together...
