HottExhaust and Magnaflow

I want to let people know of my experience with my HottExhaust purchase, of a Magnaflow Cat-back. Because of a GREAT price. I placed my order on a Saturday June 21.
On Monday I emailed and asked if they would send me a tracking number when shipped. I was assured they would. After more emails, and two phone calls, two assurances that I would get it by first on 7/2, then on 7/7, then on 7/9. They tell me problem is at Magnaflow's shipping.
Well this morning I called Magnaflow and was told it was in fact Magnaflows problem not HottExhaust. Magnaflow has a new warehouse with multiple computer systems that "Don't work nice with each other". I finally got my Tracking number from Magnaflow, and will get my system tomorrow. I commend Magnaflow for accepting blame, and HottExhaust for their great prices, when using discount codes. My system was $360.00, best price I could find.

Re: HottExhaust and Magnaflow

I ordered a magnaflow dual cat setup from www.MagnaflowExhausts.com $327.35 shipped. I hope I don't have the same problem, I am hoping to get it by tomorrow, but it sounds like that may be wishful thinking. The part # is Magnaflow 23479. How well did it fit?

I have not yet installed system, as I have lots still to do.
But the system looks great.

Re: HottExhaust and Magnaflow

It delivered today so I can't complain other than not having tracking information right away.

Re: HottExhaust and Magnaflow

I also plan to buy a catback system #16829 from hottexhaust.com. The company automatically takes of 10% of total purchase, which dropped the price from $480 to $460. My buddy gave me a coupon code that would lower the price from $460 to $430. I also added a stainless tip and it lowered the price to about $387 total. I haven't found a lower price anywhere for that model.
