Thumbs up for ACC torque converters.

As some of you know its getting harder and harder to find a torque converter for the 700R4 (lock up style).
Many big name companies are canceling their lines.
I came across this company: http://www.accperformance.com/
They were very courteous and helpful over the phone.
I was recommended a converter from their Boss hog "street bandit" level 2 line up.
Now heres the kicker. I payed like $323 (if I recall correctly).
I will let you guys now how it performs when the strip opens up next month.

Re: Thumbs up for ACC torque converters.

seems like a decent converter for the money. its not a custom built TC, but i'm curious to see how it treats you. always nice to have a budget alternative to B&M/TCI junk.

Re: Thumbs up for ACC torque converters.

I felt I didn't need a custom 600+hp converter. And to get the stall I wanted from either TCI or B&M I would have to order a custom model. Which was really expensive.
ACC told me this converter should support 500+hp if I'm not mistaken. So it should work.
