Do you mean labor to make it fit, or money in material to prep it for paint? Explain if you would please.

the money is in the labor. see the hoods come in a gellcoat. that coat is supposed to be scuffed then painted. my hood arrive with a chuck of the corner gone and the gellcoat was all pitted. some spots had primer on it, so someone at the factory much have tired to do some work. luckly i have a friend that works at a body shop. even then i had to pay $300 to get it to look good. it still isn't perfect. so it is $300 for the hood itself and $300 for the paint job. due the math. thats $600. that alot of money. check out USbody.com and harwood. hope this helps. if you have any more questions fee free to ask.

Ditto. Harwood makes real nice hoods.I've owned a few of them and they required little or no work to look great. You get what you pay for.

I agree that you get what you pay for. Personally I like my 4" Glasstek. It's on a Z, but if you want to see the link is in the sig.

THANKS for the words about unlimited industries. I guess I will bite the bullet and spend the money on a Harwood.
