Upgrading Exhaust

I own a 1992 Camaro RS 305 5.0L V8, 25th anniversary edition. My exhaust has a leak so I am looking into getting a new one. Any recommendations are helpful. I am thinking about getting the Hooker brand exhaust, likely the blackheart kit. Let me know what y'all did and what you like/dislike. Thanks!

Re: Upgrading Exhaust

There are alot of good options. Basically comes down to how far you wanna go, $$$ wise.
My personal must have want list is exhaust must be stainless. Had aluminized before, didn't last. So mandated stainless. I went Magnaflow, years ago now. It was around '95ish? Kit was for the LT1 forth gens obviously. There was no 3rd gen kit for many years to come at this point, but I discovered Magnaflow and wanted stainless. Borla and Corsa were too much $$ for me back then, so I grabbed this. Just bought a small piece of 3" stainless locally to make the kit fit 3rd gen into the cat. I've been very happy with it all these years. I sometimes get the urge to change... just for a change. Then I see the prices now and see my exhaust is still in great shape, lol. I'm happy with mine.

There are alot of great options, and it opens if you get a 4th gen kit and fit it in too.
Hooker, Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, GMMG (Madhammer), Dynomax..just some of them.
