Best Option for Fuel Pump?

Best Option for Fuel Pump?
Hello again!
After a couple years of pretty much trouble-free driving, My fuel pump seems to have given up the ghost. After hearing how much of a pain it is to get the tank to drop, I really wanna make sure I'm getting a good Fuel Pump so I don't have to do it for another 100k miles. I have basically set my sights on a couple of them. The one that seems to get recommended a lot is the Walbro 255. My only concern is that the website says modification is required to put it in, but I haven't seen anyone say anything about that on this forum or anywhere else. Is there a mod required or is the website just doing it's due diligence? The second one would be finding an ACDelco one, OEM should still be good since I'm 90% sure mine is OEM as well. The final one is Delphi, which has the convenience of being available in person near me and being priced like a good quality fuel pump, but I've never heard of the brand.
Any help would be majorly appreciated!

Walbro units go right in just like stock. Just make sure you use fuel line rated for submersion for the connection.

Racetronix makes good pumps when they aren't dead in the box. They use the same electrical connector that walbro uses
