"ebay" switchback front markers

These https://www.ebay.com/itm/176066718538
Got them earlier this week and been playing around with them. I dont like the double bar look and not really crazy about the white LEDs either , so there goes the switchbacks, but i can live without that. Short vid w/ one almost done and the side marker dismounted to show them "working" together. On the left edge you can just see the dr.side marker, at about 10sec it shuts off (driving lights turned off, back on at 16sec). I sharpied the white LEDs and the OE diffuser lens orange.

Re: "ebay" switchback front makers

Great idea, I'm not a fan of the double bar look either, but the sequential turn signals adds a small modern touch to the car. How does the board look on the eBay set?

Re: "ebay" switchback front makers

I think they present a very good look in the ad's pictures, simple, clean, modern. If I had a Camaro I might go for them. Do they not look as good in real life?

The only thing I don't care for is the sequential style flashing. Kind of gives a bit of a muddled appearance. I'd prefer a crisp on-off. Are you modding them? If so, in what way?

Re: "ebay" switchback front markers

They're very nicely made actually and weren't bad looking with the black bar removed (its just a decal). Much nicer appearance with the solid white lens when lit, but not off. I debated leaving em that way, but i much prefer the stock look. So i took them apart and put the board in my stock markers. I didn't take many pics. Here of the decals has been removed as that marker was already disassembled. I,ll finish them tomorrow and make another vid.

Here's the board in the ebay housing I sharpied the white LEDs amber/org and also the diffuser lens from the OE lamps.

Everything, minus the housing.

Ok, here a short vid. These are so much brighter than my homemade version. Mine were fine at night or on overcast days, but on a bright sunny day, not so much.
