ACC carpet review
Bought a complete set of carpets for my 91 camaro from acc incl floor mats
Ordered the regular cutpile in dove gray with mass backing option.
Jute padding is attached to it.
It comes in small box and you will never get it back in there once its opened.
I let it sit for a few days before I started to put it into the car.
Between the jute padding and the mass backing of the factory trunk carpet there was a cardboard, so I made a new one for the acc carpet.
Overall it was a nice fit and I'm very happy with the result.

Re: ACC carpet review
Yours fits the tunnel so much better than mine. There is a ton of extra in the back area on mine. I got the plush stuff with the extra mass backing too. Sounds and looks great, but just doesn't fit 100% in the middle of the car if you ask me

Re: ACC carpet review
Yes it is a bit too much material over the tunnel.
I tried to pull it down as much as I can when I drilled the holes for the rear buckles.
In comparison to the old factory carpet I can live with some minor fitment issues

Re: ACC carpet review
I bought the ACC Cut pile without the mass backing.
I figured it would be easier and more pliable without it. I laid down an extra layer of jute padding on floor first.
I’m having the same problem at the front center of console....under dash. I cannot get it to slide under the heater box.
Has anyone had same experience?

Why are you trying to get it under the heater box? Cut the extra, What I did was installed the center console loosely, then taped around it so that I knew what would be visible.
