Rockville USS8 Powered Sub

I purchased one of these to add some bass to my tin can sounding system. I have a high power Sony head unit and JBL speakers. The speakers are small in the stock locations as you all know, so getting bass even out of quality speakers is almost impossible. When I got the Rockville USS8 and I took it out of the box my expectations of bass went right out the window. This thing is small, and it is an acoustic reflex speaker with no visible port for the bass. I mean this is only 3" deep! After a pretty straight forward trunk install wow was I impressed. This really has crisp, clean bass. It is not overpowering, but you know there is a sub in the trunk. This 8" sub with a 150 watt RMS (600 watt peak) amp all in one nicely finished, quality built case was under $100, talk about "bang for your buck"!

We added something similar to my sons truck. Makes a nice difference.

I also put the same exact thing in my son's truck. VERY nice and hides well right behind the seat.
