So these are the heads you will use on the Vette? You have lots of options around the shop....

Re: Sportsman II Cylinder Heads

Yup these are the ones, I'm gonna stick with this set unless the m-shop finds a huge expensive problem and I don't think they will. The most expensive set of all my heads that I have is the new sportsman II set, I got them off ebay for $750ish a few yrs ago. My other sets of sportsmans were used, one set $500 back around 2000ish, the Dart set cost $300 n I bought them around 2012 maybe. The other set I got free when buying a shortblock about the same time as the Darts.

I got a few projects w/o engines atm and I've been collecting parts for a long log long time for some of them.

Re: Sportsman II Cylinder Heads

Do you have any experience w/ "Enginequest" CH350 heads? They are iron, made in Australia and incorporate Vortec style comb. chambers with 1987-95 style intake bolt setup. I have a thread going because I want to use them on a L98 street build. However, of course, problems w/ the EQ 's have come up. Thanks.

Re: Sportsman II Cylinder Heads

I'm always afraid I wouldn't be able to get walls and ports "straight". I've used cutters on iron, and it's not easy IMO.
