Milodon Oil Pump
Got this 18755 Milodon pump off ebay for a good price and planned to use it on my donor vortec but after the cam bearings were bad I decided to use it on my crate vortec. Just now got to prepping it and I'll prob not buy any more milodon pumps, more so because of the resurfacing it needed and the next vid I'll post when edited.

Aftermarket parts re-boxing my friend. Looks the same as a Melling pump, but they stick it into a Milodon box and squeeze you for more money since you think you're getting a premium product. This happens everywhere. Comp cams isn't making timing sets, lifters, or pushrods either.
A cool thing I learned to do was drill a couple small holes in alternating gear roots on the idler gear, so pressurized oil lubricates the fixed shaft.

Yah lots of places do that, they make one thing and then work with other co's that also make one thing. So it appears they have more products! Still even if all TV's come off the same line, diff co's have diff specs/quality requirements/tolerances or small parts used/sourced are diff a lot of times. The milodon pump doesn't appear to be the same casting as the Mellings I've prepped but unless you got both in your hand or pay attention to detail. The milodon is deff thicker casting at the neck area than a standard melling.
