Yeah saw the infomercial on that almost seems to good to be true, but at the same time I know a part that my company makes that uses plastic that uses UV to stick it together. I've never seen the machine personally.

I haven't really tested the strength yet, just the normal handling when putting parts back on the car.I also mended the plastic trim piece (holes) between the headliner & hatch.It held together really good when tightening down the screws.I'll keep my eye on these & update later on.

How funny, I saw their commercial literally seconds before logging onto TGO. Here is a post about the product. What timing! I would need to do some research to know if the applicator is refillable. I suspect there is a shelf-life to the plastic bonding liquid. It would be handy to have this in may bag of tricks I keep in my vehicles. I'd just be bummed to have an emergency repair that it would be perfect for only to discover the liquid had gone hard and was not use-able due to age.

Its not refillable unfortunately.From my "research" it seems the only way to buy it, is in kit form, meaning with the UV light.The bonding agent will not set/hardend until the UV is applied though.

My quick research of the reviews of the product agree, not refillable. There is differing answers as far as how long is the shelf-life of the product. Two people answered that is has a shelf-lie between 12-14 months, one said it SHOULD he unlimited since it is UV cured. This not the first or only UV cure-able plastic bond on the market. But the majority of the legitimate reviews of this product are for the majority negative.

Many mention that the repair itself is no stronger than if using a hot-melt glue gun. many also complain about bonding issues. I've bought similar products that used a catalyst and they have gone hard in the tubes in roughly a year to a year and a half.

I can see two uses for it. First, as you have used it to repair the molded or ABS plastic parts in our interiors that have failed from age. I currently use a 2-part epoxy along with .020" aluminum for this type of repair. Second (and the main reason I'd consider it) would be for a quick repair to get me back on the road.

Example: Anyone remember when the owner of Pappa Johns's Pizza gave everyone a free pizza if they showed up with a Camaro to celebrate his finding the 67 Camaro he had to sell to help fund the original restaurant? The nearest PJ's was about 7 miles away. I got there, got my pizza, but found out the overflow tank for the coolant had busted where it connect to the rubber hose going to the radiator. Fortunately I was in a shopping center, got some epoxy at the grocery store and some coolant and had it repaired and back on the road in less than an hour. But if this happened on a club cruise.It could have been a problem.

I bought it mostly because its easy to apply & doesnt set til the UV is applied.If you're gonna use it , you'll probably run out before it (if ever) hardends.The tube is pretty small.I ordered two for $21 & probably used two thirds of one tube already.

to those of you who have used it , does it seem to live up to all the TV hype ??? I have tried several glues/epoxies/polyesters with out too much success . looking for something that really works . please tell me this stuff works ...

I have not tried this one yet, but really about the only thing I have found to make a good strong repair is some type of 2 part epoxy like JB weld... Only thing is with it, it takes 24 hours to cure fully
