Fryer's Auto Upholstry -- Notchback Seat upholstery
I am looking into getting new seat covers and I have a question. Anyone ever try Fryer's Auto Upholstery. My seats are 1997 fronts (drivers side is power) and my rears are stock split rears with integrated headrests.
I saw one posting on this but with no info.
Reason I need to get them recovered is that my stock rears are faded and torn and my new fronts are the nuetral tan (which I made the mistake of painting with sem paint -- and yes I have already beaten myself up over that) lol
Oh and I almost forgot, if I get the 3rd gen style front seat upholstery, will it fit the 4th gen style seats? All except for the headrest that is? I haven't seen any real differences, but I never really took a good look at them side by side.

I give it about a 0% chance that the front upholstery will fit a 4th gen seat. The GTA seat is moveable in places the 4th gen seat isn't and the upholstery kit will be fitted for that style. A local upholstery shop might be able to make them fit with some cutting and stitching but with seats from two different generation cars your best bet will be custom upholstery done by a local shop.

What about this:
On the fronts, do the headrests in black, the torso section in the tan, and the bottom in black.
On the rears, do the torso section in tan and the bottom buckets in black.
I am trying do get an idea of the different things I can do before I go custom.

Re: Fryer's Auto Upholstry -- Notchback Seat upholstery
My interior is tan, but my original idea was to mix and match because of the amount of black trim. However, since my last post, I completely revamped my front seats. I took my 4th gen fronts and took them apart. I also took my 3rd gens apart. What I did was I combined the electrical and air and the bottom from the 4th gen with the tops and headrest of the 3rd gen.
Pretty much plug and play. The problem before was the mix matched seats, but since I did this they are now 3rd gen all around. So I will go with fryers upholstery so that my seats will be one color and not 3 (palomino paint, neutral tan 4th gens and beechwood tan 3rd gens)
Thanks anyway
