Bulldog Security Keyless Entry System
I was reading threads on here about retrofitting keyless entry from later f-bodies and searching for a module to do it. The ones I found were 50-100 bucks and didn't include fobs. I did some more searching and found this:
http://www.amazon.com/Bulldog-KE1702.../dp/B000CS9Q6E
I purchased mine from autozone for 49.99 plus tax but if you want to wait amazon is a good bit cheaper.
Their website has the wiring diagram that I needed and even the wire locations here:
http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagr...3&link=Bulldog
It only took about five wires to hook it up. Normally I would have soldered all the connections but due to the cramped location of many of them I used scotch locks. I know, I hate them too but I think they will be okay and are much better than just twisting the wires and taping them that the instructions say to do.
The module is very easy to locate in the car, it's just a little bit bigger than a deck of cards. I placed mine above the lower column cover and loomed my wires. Works great and I think it's worth the price of admission.
If your door locks are slow or weak this will not fix it. My driver's side was so I took my door panel off and cleaned and lubed up my linkages and the lock itself and now it locks/unlocks aggressively.

Re: Bulldog Security Keyless Entry System
The wiring diagram for the 91-92 cars is the same except for the hatch release. Mine has a brown wire and they list it as being a black wire for 91. It says it's ground activated so it should wire up exactly the same. It says you need a relay kit but I did not since they module throws a ground to activate it.

Look like it has parking light output...You could throw another relay on there and wire up the horn to that output.
- (2) Four Button Remote Transmitters
- Built-in Relays for Door Locks
- Trunk Release Output (-)
- Parking Light Output (-)
- Starter Disable Output (-)
- Program Button for Special Options
- Designated Lock and Unlock Buttons
- Qualifies for Insurance Discount
