Wonder bar 1
Well I plan to use the UMI sub frame connectors so I decided to buy a different bar. A UMI wonder bar. I ordered it from Summit Racing on the 4th and it was here on the 5th. The welds are perfect and its heavy and that's OK with me.
I believe it was a good buy for $49.99 and $10.00 handling fee with no shipping charge.
The directions in it say to loosen the end link bolts in order to do the install. I have never heard that so I was wondering if everyone has had to do that.
Also ,are there torque specs for the bolts.

Re: Wonderbar 1
i think it wants you to loosen the end links so you can pull the sway bar down enough to get the bar in place since it shares mounting holes with the sway bar mounts. I dont know torque specs but tight is tight!

Re: Wonderbar 1
They say to loosen them because sometimes they make lining the bolts for bthe mounts and wonderbar difficult. If you loose the endlinks you have some more slop in the connections and it can make life easier. You may not have to do it.
