iPhone OBD II

iPhone OBD II
So I found an article in " Popular Mechanics " October 2010 that says an iPhone, iPad, & iPad Touch can be used for OBD II.
The app is free, but the cable is $99 that you get from your i store.
The CARbonga ( Speedemissions; $4.99 in the App Store ) checks all the car's safety systems etc.
DashCommand ( Palmer Engineering; $49 in App Store ) gives gauges displaying RPM, HP & Torque, and uses the iPhone accelerometer for graphics of acceleration, braking, & cornering.
Anyone use it??
