powdercoating cooked by light?
i'm thinking about buying some stuff to get into powdercoating, and i was thinking about getting a used oven. but some things wont fit in one such as a sway bar.
i came across this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=370345039691
would lights be effective?
would the item need to be on a rotisserie like thing to rotate so all sides get treated?
could i just buy different lights instead of paying that much?
if so, does anyone know?

So you have an idea that I know what I'm talking about, industrial pc'ing has been my job for more than a few years now. Honestly, you'd be better off building an oven and getting a little propane setup than messing with lights. $400 can buy a lot of bricks. For any infrared light to be very effective, it's gonna suck some power and you'll quickly find yourself spending tons of money when you could have done it far cheaper. Our "oven" at work is the size of a small warehouse and is fed by 5 huge burners that run on natural gas.
