yeah they are a pita to use kind of. If you do it make sure you clean the inside really good before and after porting the openings otherwise even with oil it will end up getting stuck and ruining the runner from the friction. go slow check your work often. If you take your time they will work though.

Re: TPI Dent Removal
an easier (and free) trick is to seal one end fill it with water and put it in the freezer. as the ice expands it will pop out the dents search the forum theres a ton of posts on this method. good luck!

Re: TPI Dent Removal
Thanks for the note. Luckily my runners are perfect. What I'm trying to accomplish is enlarging the runners to increase the flow. Has anyone seen an increase using the frozen water method?

If you want to remove a dent...try the water/ice trick.
If you want to enlarge the runner....dremmel and some patience or SLP runners.

Extrude honing is the only method I know of, to fully port a runners inner diameter, all the way through evenly.

the steel runner ***** work too but you need to make sure it is all clean inside and that you port it far enough in to make sure it doesn't get lodged in and get stuck because then it will create a big bulge in the runner and ruin it. properly done it does enlarge the runners though.
