I did the search and didn't find many answers to this question.

How good is the fit and finish on Hawk's Sunoco Hoods? One thread said they were horrid but others didn't seem to have any real problems with the hood.

If you have one, can you post up any issues you had with it or, if there weren't any issues, how satisfied you were with it.

I've got a 92 Camaro that now has poly motor mounts and a HSR and I'd rather switch out the hood than cut a pristine original hood to make it fit. And I'd like to go with the Sunoco style as something a little different from all the other cowl hooded Camaro's in the area.

I can't comment on the Sunoco hood but I purchased an SS hood and never was able to make it sit properly. I've seen a bunch of pics of cars with the SS hoods with the same fitment issues on the drivers side that I had. Wheather or not these were from Hawks or not, who knows. I must say though, that the service and advice I got from Bruce at Hawks was great.

Unfortunately though, before this I beleived that it was not worth looking at a fibreglass hood that sold for less than 800-900$. This experience only strengthened that view.
