MSD Street Fire Plug Wires

Anybody out there ever use the MSD Street Fire Plug wires sets? I am looking to install them on my motor after putting headers on, and I was wondering how they fit(too long, too short, just right)?

Re: MSD Street Fire Plug Wires

Same here, a couple are a little long but better than my last set. They are long enough to route back past the valve cover instead of going across it for a cleaner look than wires that are too short.

Re: MSD Street Fire Plug Wires

i used them...buy the cut to length ones there way better and buy the wire looms from moroso they bolt on the valve covers like where the washer goes. they look sexy and the street fire cut to length mixed with those clean the bay up soooooo much looks so much better...just seperate the short wires from long and it comes with the little tool u need and all u need is a blade to cut them but its got a crimper and everything very easy to use and better than precuts

I ordered this set:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-5566/

All 90 degree boots and longer length to go under the headers.

@85_ZED28

let me know how those wires work out for you as they are specifically for corvettes..

Will do. I originally ordered MSD-5570 but they were too short to route under the headers.

Any NGK plug recommended for your car should be just fine. Personally I stay away from gimmick plugs and Bosch unless I am driving a German car.

Re: MSD Street Fire Plug Wires

AC Delco standard plug is # R45TS and is one of the more popular plugs on this site. Absolutely no gimmicks here.Just a AC Delco Conventional resistor spark plug you can buy at any auto parts store for around $2.00 ea.
Also why does a plug wire set come without a coil wire ? = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-5566/

Just put them on this weekend. A couple of the wires were a bit long, but this set (MSD-5566) worked well for going under the headers like I wanted .
