Largest aftermarket dual fan w/shroud that fits?
Does anybody know the dimensions of the largest aftermarket dual fan with a shroud that will fit a 85 Camaro, without doing any modifications to make it fit? We were looking at a Flxalite #210--dimensions 15.5X26".
What is the largest single fan with shroud that U can fit on without modding.
Largest dual independant fans staggered?
Somebody told me u can get a fan unit from and Lt-1 car--that it fits and has a shroud--any info anybody can provide?
Thanks!!!

Staggered setup is all in the wiring. (unless your talking 14 and 12 inch fans)
Flexalite 210/220
Spal dual 11"
hardcore 16" fan
Thinderbird 2-speed fan
LTx/LSx fans can be made to work, all will take work.

These are NOT staggered--they are straight across

When i first started i had a 10" and 14" on my northern 31x19, that was side to side of the core. Brain fart on my part, not enough air.
I had the stock dual fans, couldnt keep up.
Recently installed a thunderbird 2-speed fan, whch is like a 17" blade, shrouded. Works great. see here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cool...-problems.html
Lots of guys on her run the Spal and Flexalite dual fans with success. have seen some with the LSx/LTx fans also.
Good luck.

What is it about the stockers that arent working?
The biggest offender for 230 degree temps on the guage are the stock fan turn on points.
It does not affest the radiator or fans.
Just there for emissions.
Dropping the fan 1 temp turn on and using a 180 t-stat and a GN secondary fan switch will keep you at 200 degrees all day long.
Or am I missing something here?

My problems became apparent when the outside temps went up.
All winter, part of spring i was 200 or less. When summer, spring hit temps would go well above 230!
A simple fan upgrade changed that, and im saving for a new water pump
