Comp cams Solid roller cam & Hi-tech lifter

The Hi-tech lifter are not suposed to be used for sustained idle cause the main oiling is crank oil splaching on it...I alredy got the Hi-tech one So i check the endurex ones with a groove on it that are moore situable for sustained idle with the idea of making my own groove. With further examination of the Hi-tech i found that they got a presurised oil passage to the axle berings so the should be ok !? Do someone have experience with thoses ?The cam is not billet its more a cast core do i need a bronze gear or the melonize one is ok? Is the stock fuel pump push rod is ok to use?

That track in the video in your sig, is that Luskville? Are you in Gatineau/Aylmer/Hull region? If so check out the Ontario region on here. Also check out Ottawafbody club in Ottawa. Hylton will hook you up to the club if you want.

It doesn't look like a tiny little hole like that would take long to get plugged by deposits in street use.

I have those same lifters in my new motor with a XR280R. I haven't ran it on the street yet, but I did test fire it once. It saw plenty of oil to the valve covers (75 PSI and stock volume). I was told by CompCams it would be fine in street use as long as I didn't sit at 2k RPMs for more than 2 or 3 minutes at one time. They told me just to rev it to 3k+ once and awhile and it would lube the camshaft and lifters again.

I think compcams offers a tool to scribe/cut a oil line in the lifter bores to get more oil, but I haven't researched anything past that since my combo was already about 75% assembled by the time I found out.
