I don't care what they tell you, they didn't pay 900 dollars to replace the weatherstripping... I've looked around, and the MOST EXPENSIVE set i found was 369.99

Okay, so say it's that much, and then what.. even FIFTY dollars for shipping (which it isnt) is still only 419.99... where do they get the rest of teh money? adhesive products cost MAYBE 20 dollars...

You sir, got screwed. I would go to the shop and demand to see reciepts for the parts that they ordered, because that's absolute bull****.

btw: i found a weatherstripping set here LOCALLY for 185$ canadian, and i will do it myself, easily.

I'm wondering about that sof seal (sp?) stuff. I just need to touch up a couple of areas (rather than replace all the stripping). How hard is it to apply and how well does it work?

I've heard alot of bad stuff about soff seal, and only a few people seemed to think it was great.

The few I know that have spent the pretty penny on the GM kit raves about it though. Claiming to have a quieter (and dryer) ride since.

I think I'm going to save up for the GM stuff after I do my interior and send it off to paint.

I'm not putting it all over - I just need it in one spot, so it seems silly to spend all that money on new GM stuff.

Camp3Ro,

Was the stuff from Advance made to specifically fit or was it universal? Was it for T-tops? And how much $$$?
