Hello All,
I'm running a 28mm rear sway bar, and I'm lowered 2" also, and my TA Performance "Girdle" fits. It's close, but no problerms. I have heard of others that have had clearance problems that were easy to overcome, but it's been awhile, and I do not remember all the particulars of those two.

Do you want someone to call for you? There is a PDF version of the catalog with the email and some of the overseas shipping info. Did you download that?

My cover does touch my rear sway bar. Enough so that a mark is worn into the cover. I guess alot of stuff flex's when I pull 1.6x 60's on the motor!

Axle/Gears: factory 9 bolt with 3.45 gears
it is so strange to see all of the interest and effort that was put into the 9bolt cover. I had no idea this was all being arranged because I wasn't a member of this site, at the time. I was calling T/A Performance on a regular basis a few years back asking them if they had plans to produce a cover for the 9 bolt. I called them every few months and finially heard their plans to put it into production. I spoke with a woman that said there was enough interest to start the production, so I put my name on a pre-order list. I was so happy when my shipment came in. Hey, I didn't realize that I was part of the 'task force' to get this project going... ah, who knows if my calls had anything to do with it, but I was delighted when it came in. Here's the funny part, I haven't even installed it yet! My project slowed down when I bought my house, but i'm getting back on track with the car now. I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced any problems with their 9 bolt rear cover from T/A. Any feedback is highly appreciated!

ah crap, i just noticed my post is "666", is that bad luck?!

I'd be interested in buying a kit.
What's the best way to get one this late after the original thread?

DANG!
I just ordered another set of them but no 9bolt set ups, all 10s.
If you can find at least 5 others that want any TA Cover they will be $170 shipped with stud kit, if we get 10+ they will be $155 shipped.

So, if there are nine others out there who are interested in these, we have the potential to save about $25 (or, it'd be like getting the stud kit for free)...

If the 9 bolts are like the 10 bolts, they recommend using RTV sealer and not the gaskets on these covers. I have one on my 10 bolt and love it..no problems.

I emailed him yesterday saying that I'd like to be notified the next time he runs a GP on them, & here's his response:

I'd probably go in on the GP if we get enough people.

Alright everyone!
I got mine in today. It's an awesome product! Well machined and built tough! I plan on installing mine sometime within the next week.
I spoke with Mike at TA Performance. He said they have only sold less than 60 units of these. He didn't have the exact amount, but was expecting over 150 before they can make their money back on producing it. Even if you have a different cover you need or product, at least let them know you found it from this forum.
I can't wait to install mine.

Well, I monitored this thread for a week, week & a half after posting about the possibility for a GP, then (when it didn't seem anyone was interested) I stopped watching it so closely.
I'm definitely still interested, and willing to include the 10-bolt covers as well, just so that we can get 9 others besides me in on this.
So what I'm asking is, if you're interested, shoot me a PM, & I'll periodically post how many people we have in this thread. Please also let me know if you're in a rush to get it, or if you can wait until we have 10 people for the better discount. (Myself, I'd prefer to wait until we have 10, but if the majority opinion is to order now, I might be persuaded to do that.)
(At the moment, it looks like we have 3-4 others interested, but I'll post a tally when I get the first bunch of PMs.)
Thanks!

They're normally $159 for the cover, then the stud kit adds another $25 (so about $180 total). But, if we get 10 or more people, they'll ship 'em out the door for $155, which is basically equivalent to getting the stud kit for free. The GP is good for either the Aussie 9-bolt rears, or the more-common 10-bolt rear end covers.
At this point, I've gotten PMs from five others besides myself, so we already have enough people for the "small" price break. I'd personally still prefer to wait for another four people, which at the rate we're going, could well be within the next week, maybe week & a half. Here's the breakdown that I have so far:
* Myself - 9-bolt
* old Phart - 9-bolt
* Spdfrk1990 - 10-bolt
* Norwood - 9-bolt
* CashMunson - 9-bolt
* honkeytonk_man - 9-bolt
Thanks guys, correct me if I have something wrong.

Hey guys, I'd most likely be interested in getting one for my 9 bolt. I just need a little time to make sure I want to stay with a 9 bolt (Im having a hell of a time finding a carrier and gears).
